METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine: CSR engagement expands

Corporate Social Responsibility is a very important part of business development of METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine. With every store opening METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine always supports its operations with social projects. Launching into operations its new store in Vinnitsia the company donated 34,000 Euro to two local institutions. MCC Ukraine will help a local orphanage for kids from 0 to 6 years old to repair the food block and kitchen as well as create playgrounds. Another institution helping disabled young people aged between 18 and 27 will receive a specially equipped minivan. In Zaporizhia, METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine is purchasing equipment for three local hospitals for a total amount of 34,000 Euro. As an industrial region the issue of ecology and health represent two very important topics in Zaporizhia.
