Conditions at manufacturers’ plants are also checked for compliance with the latest organizational and safety-relevant standards. All suppliers are required to permit these checks. With the private labels METRO Cash & Carry checks in the course of the 'fit-for-use'-test more than required.

Focus on quality and safety

Each delivery of goods is again carefully tested. Quality Assurance Managers and external labs examine the product safety and quality of the items and their individual components.

In addition, spot checks help ensure that the goods on the store shelves meet the standards of the product range. Quality Assurance Managers of METRO Cash & Carry are available at all times to respond to questions and feedback related to product quality.
